Australia had always been the dream destination, and I’d been highly recommended this tour by a friend of mine. I booked it not knowing what to expect and from the second the tour started, I felt at home with my new friends and looked after by our tour lead Byron. Byron immediately learnt everyone’s names, made the effort to talk to all of us and get to know us and in turn put us at ease on our journey. At times I felt homesick or needed my me time, but I always felt welcome to be myself. The friends I made on this trip were kind, caring and generous. I really have made friends for life. Furthermore, Byron pushed me out my comfort zone and encouraged me to make the most of my time in Australia, especially with our trip to K’Gari. Honestly, I am petrified of spiders and poor Byron had to reassure me constantly for about 3 days before the trip, going above and beyond to make me feel safe and comfortable. Honestly, besides refusing to use one toilet at a cafe because of a rather scary spider, this experience was one of the best of my life. Although at times I felt pretty lazy on my tour, with Byron taking the lead and handling just about everything we needed to do from buses, accommodation and excursions to even our dinner plans and drinks venues, I really couldn’t have done it without ultimate. I’m not surprised this company has been rated top again and again and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to explore Australia. I’ve seen more than I could’ve imagined if I’d planned the whole trip myself. I’m very sad to leave Australia but so proud of myself for going. My advise to anyone who’s debating that Australia trip, book it!! And book it with ultimate, because it’s been the greatest 3 weeks of my life. Thank you ultimate and thank you Byron!

I have had the best week ever with ultimate travel. Josh our tour guide was genuinely incredible. He was so knowledgeable, so friendly, so helpful and such fun. He made everyone feel so welcome from day 1 and I have made some of the best friends on this tour in such a short amount of time. Every activity was so much fun. The organisation from ultimate is top notch especially as I am here on a working visa the whole team have been so helpful with all aspects from sorting out my Australian tax file number and offering help with my CV. Cannot recommend them enough!

Had the best time on my 6 weeks east coast tour with ultimate travel. We visited so many great places and I made the best memories with the most amazing group of people. Our tour guide Katherine was the best and she made sure we all had the best time and that everything ran smoothly. By the end of the trip she’d become a friend. Would recommend the tour to everyone!

Just finished the 3 week East Coast Tour with Byron as our guide!! The best time travelling and seeing all the amazing places! Felt so comfortable and such an enjoyable tour with good knowledge and organisation from our guide! I did the 3-week East Coast trip in Australia, and it was honestly the best three weeks of my life!
We experienced so much and visited so many amazing places that we probably would never have discovered on our own. The recommendations from locals and our tour guide were also super helpful, whether it was restaurants, bars, shops or just general tips for the different cities. Especially when you’re visiting a place for the first time, having those recommendations makes such a difference!
A HUGE thank you goes to our amazing tour guide, Mia Howard. I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better guide! She is such an open, warm-hearted and outgoing person. Right from the beginning, she always made sure that everyone felt comfortable and included in the group. She made us feel like we could come to her with absolutely anything, which really takes away a lot of the nerves that come with going on such a big trip.
Something I also really appreciated was how she was always motivated and up for anything, no matter what. Whether it was on rainy days, after long overnight bus journeys or when some of us were feeling tired or less motivated (which can definitely happen on such a long trip), she always managed to lift everyone’s spirits and stayed positive throughout the entire trip. She made it feel like we were travelling with a friend rather than a tour guide.
Mia truly made this experience even more special, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have had her as our guide.

Me and my girlfriend have just finished the 1 week tour in Australia. It was well organised and our tour guide Marcus did a fantastic job. He was very knowledgeable with his local facts and had lots of fun games to play whilst out on our trips. It was a great way for us to kick off our working holiday.
