Arrive into Sri Lanka and settle into Negombo, a relaxed coastal town close to the airport. Meet your group and tour leader and ease into your adventure. Try the local cuisine at your welcome dinner and get ready for the adventure ahead.
Head inland to the cultural heart of Sri Lanka. Explore the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, hike Pidurangala for sunrise views, visit ancient temples, and enjoy lake-view accommodation surrounded by jungle landscapes. Enjoy the accommodation pool, more fantastic local food and the optional add on activities.
Travel into the hill country to Kandy. Explore the city by tuk tuk, visit important cultural and religious sites, and experience the vibrant local atmosphere of Sri Lanka’s former royal capital.
Journey through misty mountains and tea plantations to Ella. Visit a tea estate, enjoy scenic viewpoints, and soak up the laid-back vibe of this hill country favourite. From Ambewela you will jump on the most scenic train ride in the world! Get ready for the Instagram pics!
Head south to Udawalawe National Park for an unforgettable wildlife experience. Go on safari in search of elephants, then spend the night glamping inside the national park, surrounded by nature.
Travel to Sri Lanka’s south coast. Relax on golden beaches, swim, surf, spot dolphins, and enjoy beachside nights in this laid-back coastal town. Cycle through the Paddy Fields, stopping at local villages to indulge in the culture and try the voted best ice-cream in Sri Lanka.
Visit the memorial for the 2004 Tsunami and take a boat cruise through the mangrove forest. Finish your journey near Colombo in Wattala. Enjoy a final night with your group before departing Sri Lanka the following day.

Yes, bring temple wear to cover legs, shoulders and chest — men should wear t-shirts rather than singlets; sarongs are ideal for women to drape over shoulders.
Is there an airport pick up on arrival?

What time should I fly out at the end of the tour?
You can depart any time on the last day, allowing about 40 minutes travel time to the airport.
