Explore the best of the Whitsunday Islands including the world-famous Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, spectacular coastal views from the Hill Inlet, and the peaceful bliss of Whitehaven beach. Spend 2 nights under the stars on our boats with unrivaled facilities and meet native Australian wildlife up close.

DAY 1 – ALL ABOARD

Meet in Airlie Beach and step aboard New Horizon for the start of your Whitsundays sailing adventure. After departing the marina, cruise past South Molle Island and stop at Bauer Bay for your first swim. Slide into the ocean, paddleboard, or relax on deck as everyone settles into island time.

As the afternoon unfolds, sail to Hook Passage for the night. Enjoy sunset drinks, hot showers and a freshly prepared dinner before a social evening of music, games and getting to know your fellow travellers. Keep an eye out for dolphins and shooting stars as the Whitsundays come alive after dark.

DAY 2 – WHITEHAVEN & REEF EXPLORING

Wake early to breakfast and cruise to Tongue Bay. Hike to Hill Inlet lookout for panoramic views of Whitehaven Beach’s swirling silica sands, then spend time swimming, sunbaking and playing beach games.

Back onboard, enjoy a buffet lunch while sailing to a premier snorkelling and dive location. Certified and introductory divers can explore the reef with the onboard dive instructor, while others snorkel vibrant coral gardens. The afternoon brings more water activities, followed by an exclusive beach white party at sunset. Lights out at midnight.

DAY 3 – THRILLS & CHILLS

After breakfast, cool off with a final swim, waterslide session or paddleboard before sailing back to the mainland. End the trip with a True Blue after-party in Airlie Beach, complete with VIP food and drink discounts to celebrate an unforgettable Whitsundays experience.

We'll send you a booking confirmation as well as important information about your tour. You can make payments on your tour balance sooner, or regularly, via our website here. A non refundable 5.25% booking processing fee applies to each booking, calculated on the value of your booking.

The tour starts and ends in Airlie Beach. You need to make your own way to Airlie Beach.  The closest airport is Whitsunday Coast Airport in Proserpine (PPP Airport)

This tour caters for Vegetarians and customers who might be Gluten Free or Lactose free. Please advise any special food allergies, gluten free diet or dietary requirements when booking. We do recommend that you bring snacks on day 1 of the tour as we do not provide breakfast on day 1.

Yes. All cabins are fitted with air conditioning for your comfort. New Horizon is one of the few vessels in the Whitsundays to offer this feature, making a big difference during the warmer months.

Absolutely. Scuba diving can be added to your trip for an additional $99. We visit some of the best dive sites in the Whitsundays and offer both introductory and certified dives. A qualified dive instructor is onboard for every tour. Be sure to select scuba diving as an add-on when booking your sailing adventure.

Yes. All meals are included, along with morning tea, afternoon snacks, and tea and coffee. Our onboard menu is designed to cater to all guests, and special dietary requirements can be accommodated when advised at the time of booking.

Yes. New Horizon operates a BYO alcohol policy. Each passenger may bring up to 40 standard drinks per person (equivalent to 30 cans of beer, 4 litres of wine, or 1.5 litres of spirits). For safety and cleaning reasons, glass bottles and red wine are not permitted onboard.

New Horizon accommodates up to 32 passengers. The vessel is 21 metres long and features three sectioned cabins with a mix of single and double beds.

The overnight sailing tour departs from the southern end of Coral Sea Marina in Airlie Beach. Departures operate on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, usually at around 1.30pm, depending on tidal conditions. Your exact departure time will be confirmed when you check in.
