This is a social Thailand group tour with shared accommodation. Most travellers stay in multi-share dorms, with limited private or twin room upgrades available on request.
The majority of travellers join solo. Groups are mixed genders and made up of travellers from all over the world.
This tour is designed for travellers aged 18–35 and balances included experiences with free time so you can explore at your own pace.
Some nights are social and lively, while others are relaxed. There is no pressure to party or opt out – you choose how you experience the trip.
Vegetarian meals are widely available in Thailand. Vegan and other dietary requirements can be more limited in some regions and may be simpler in style.
We recommend travelling with a backpack or soft-sided luggage, as transport includes boats, ferries and internal flights.
Thailand weather can be unpredictable, and ferry schedules or activities may change due to sea or weather conditions. Your Group Leader will manage any necessary adjustments.
Full Moon Party dates do not always align with tour departure dates. Your itinerary is not dependent on Full Moon Party timing.
Optional activities may be available during the tour and can be organised locally with your Group Leader, subject to availability and conditions.
Return transport at the end of the tour is not included and can be arranged via the booking page or with your Group Leader during the trip.

We’ll organise your airport transfer so your arrival into Bangkok is smooth and stress-free.

Airport pickup is available from Suvarnabhumi International Airport (Bangkok).

The Ultimate Thailand group tour starts in Bangkok on Day 1 of the itinerary at 5:00pm. We recommend arriving into Thailand on Day 1 or earlier. You can add pre-tour nights when you book online, or chat with our Ultimate team to organise extra nights.

Before your Thailand group tour, make sure you have the necessary travel insurance and visa to travel to Thailand. You must provide your arrival date, time and flight number so we can organise your airport transfer.

To book this Thailand group tour, select your chosen departure date and choose any add-ons you’d like, including additional nights, a private room upgrade and/or arrival or departure transfers (where available).

If you have a travel date in mind but you’re not ready to pay in full, you can secure your spot with a $300 deposit. The remaining balance is due 45 days prior to your trip.

The majority of nights are spent in social, shared dorm accommodation (8–10 bed dorms) in well-located hostels, many featuring shared bathrooms and relaxed communal spaces.
You’ll start the trip with hotel accommodation in Bangkok, before moving into hostel stays across Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, Krabi and Koh Samui.

Do I need vaccinations?

Citizens from 41 nations including Australia, NZ, UK and USA can enter visa-free for 30 days by air. Proof of onward ticket and sufficient funds required.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Notify the company immediately with updated flight details so the airport transfer can be rearranged.

Do you cater for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets?

Vegetarian options widely available. Vegan meals possible but limited, especially in rural areas. Gluten-free accommodations exist but with cross-contamination risk due to soy sauce prevalence.
