Costa da Caparica, just 20 minutes from Lisbon and 30 minutes from Lisbon Airport. It’s a 30km stretch of golden Atlantic beach with waves for every level.
Do I need any surfing experience?
Nope! Most guests have never stood on a board. Your level is checked in your first session and you’ll be grouped with surfers at the same level – from total beginner through to free surf.
Do I need to be a strong swimmer?
No. Beginner lessons are in waist-to-hip deep water with your coach right beside you, at your own pace.
Is it good for solo travellers?
It’s made for them – around 40–50% of guests come solo. Shared dinners, group lessons and nightly activities mean you’ll have a crew by day one.
