Australia's Working Holiday visas (subclass 417 and 462) let you live, work and travel across the country for up to a year — with the option to extend. Here's the quick version:

To make your booking, select your chosen departure date and any optional extras you would like to book. If you are unsure about optional extras or if you need additional accommodation before or after your tour, you can let us know later via email.

We'll send you a booking confirmation as well as important information about your tour. You can make payments on your tour balance sooner, or regularly, via our website here. A non refundable 5.25% booking processing fee applies to each booking, calculated on the value of your booking.

Booking with ULTIMATE is easy! We take payments securely via Mastercard or Visa Credit and Debit Card and we will charge you in Australian Currency (AUD). Your deposit is flexible and if you can no longer travel, you can save your deposit for a later trip or destination if you notify us 30 days before your scheduled tour date.

What's included in the Ultimate Arrival Package?
Your package gets you set up from the moment you land: 3 nights of shared hostel accommodation in your arrival city, Tax File Number (TFN) application, Australian bank account setup, an Australian SIM (Sydney arrivals only), and job-ready support (online job board access, a 1-on-1 CV consultation, plus job training and advice). You also get a mail holding service, an Australian information session, Medicare assistance for eligible countries, and a guided day trip to shake off the jet lag.
How much does the arrival package cost?
The Ultimate Arrival Package starts from $499 AUD.
Do I need to book before I arrive, or can I book after I land?
We strongly recommend booking before you fly, so your accommodation and setup are ready the day you touch down. It only takes a few minutes to book online, and locking it in early means one less thing to stress about while you're travelling.
What visa do I need for a working holiday in Australia?
Most travellers come on a Working Holiday visa (subclass 417) or Work and Holiday visa (subclass 462). Both let you live, work and travel in Australia for up to 12 months, with the option to extend. Eligibility depends on your nationality and age (generally 18–30, or up to 35 for some countries). Always check the latest rules on the Department of Home Affairs website.

Where will I stay when I first arrive?
You'll stay in 3 nights of vetted, social hostel accommodation in your arrival city — a great base to settle in and meet other travellers. We also provide permanent accommodation assistance to help you find longer-term digs once you're on the ground.
Do you help me find work?
This isn't a job placement package, and we'll always be upfront about that. We've been looking after working holiday makers for over 30 years, and the honest truth is that finding work takes some time — unless you've arranged an offer before you arrive. What we do is prepare you as best we can: we help get your CV ready for the Australian market and show you how to approach employers and find work that suits you. Australia is a big place, and many working holiday makers travel around to find the work and lifestyle they're after.

The main focus of this package is getting you comfortable and confident on arrival. Moving to another country is a huge step, so we give you the practical setup and the social support to settle in and meet new friends fast. A good attitude and a confident mindset are your biggest strengths — and we're here to help you build both.
