Campervan hire FAQs
How much does campervan hire cost in Australia and New Zealand?
Prices vary by season, vehicle type and length of hire. Budget sleeper vans start lower, while fully self-contained motorhomes cost more. Enter your dates in the quote builder and our team will send the best available price for your trip.
What licence do I need to drive a campervan?
A full, current car licence (in English, or with an international translation) is enough for the vast majority of campervans and motorhomes in our fleet — no special licence required.
What is the minimum hire period?
Our minimum hire is 4 days, which suits most road-trip itineraries.
Can I pick up and drop off in different cities?
Yes — one-way hire is available on many popular routes within Australia and within New Zealand. One-way fees may apply; just choose different pick-up and drop-off locations when you request a quote.
Do campervans have a toilet and shower?
It depends on the vehicle type. Motorhomes are fully self-contained with a shower and toilet; many campervans include a toilet; sleeper vans are more basic. Each vehicle lists its facilities.
When is the best time for a road trip?
Shoulder seasons (autumn and spring) offer mild weather and fewer crowds. Australia's tropical north is best in the dry season (roughly May–October); the south and New Zealand shine over summer.
