Who will I be travelling with?
Whether you’re travelling solo or with a mate, you’ll meet like-minded travellers from all over the world. Group sizes vary with each program.
Do I need vaccinations?
Vaccines are recommended for Nepal, consult a doctor for personalised advice based on what is best to get before coming. We recommend organising all vaccines at least 4-6 weeks before your trip.
Can I book extra nights?
If you need additional nights before or after your trip, just add them to your booking when you checkout. Not sure if you need extra nights? Get in touch to chat with a member of the crew before or after you book.
Who can volunteer?
For this volunteer program physical fitness and the ability to take part in manual labour and construction tasks is required. You will have a supervisor on all job sites and training from an experienced project coordinator. We encourage everyone to try volunteering abroad who has a keen interest in culture, community and learning new life skills whilst making a difference. Respect, energy and the adaptability to work in a team and diverse environment is a must.
When is the best time to travel to Nepal?
The best time to visit Nepal is during autumn (October to November) and spring (March to May), when the weather is dry, mild and clear – perfect for mountain views and exploring. Winter (December to February) is cooler but generally dry, while the monsoon season (June to September) brings heavy rain, lush green landscapes and fewer crowds.
Do I need a visa?
Yes, most foreign nationals need a visa to enter Nepal. Many nationalities can apply online before travel or get a tourist visa on arrival at Kathmandu airport. Always check official sources such as Nepal’s Department of Immigration or your government’s travel advisory for the latest rules.
