Touch down in Bali! Start your trip in Canggu, the vibrant backpacker capital of Bali and famous for its surfing and beautiful beaches. Meet your group and local Adventure Leader. In the evening, you will meet your group for the first time with a sunset rooftop drink before enjoying an included welcome dinner together at the hotel.
Canggu is famous for its surf culture and today you’ll enjoy a half day surf experience with a local instructor. You’ll be able to surf away from the crowd and whether you’re a surf pro or a first-timer it’s time to hit the waves! Your afternoon is free — sit back with a Bintang or go for a massage or yoga class. Then enjoy your final night in Canggu with your group.
Head up to the small coastal village of Pemuteran, a little off the beaten track. On the way you’ll stop at the hidden Banyumala Waterfalls and meet a local Balinese family who share their coffee making culture with you. When you arrive in Pemuteran enjoy a free evening before spending the day exploring the reefs of Menjangan Island and the largest coral project in the world.
Head to the vibrant and jungle backdrop of Ubud – one of Bali’s most iconic hotspots. Wander through Ubud’s vibrant markets, check out its peaceful temples, and take in the town’s unique vibe. We visit the Instagrammable swing in the Tegallalang Rice Terraces and on day 7 trek up Mount Batur for a once in a lifetime sunrise experience.
Make your way to Sanur and hop on a short ferry over to Nusa Penida. Once you’ve checked into your boutique accommodation, explore the island’s top spots! Visit Kelingking Beach, Broken Beach, and Angel Billabong, with a sunset at Crystal Bay. On day 9 enjoy a full day private snorkeling tour searching for Manta Rays and turtles before the iconic Diamond Beach viewpoint.
Island life continues as we move on to the beautiful Gili T! Famous for snorkelling, sea life and its buzzing nightlife. Gili T doesn’t allow cars, so you’ll do your exploring by bike! The adventure continues with a full day of island hopping by boat, swimming with sealife, exploring the corals and joining the Gili Eco Trust for a beach clean up at sunset.
Check out of your accommodation and head back to Canggu to finish your trip. It’s time to say goodbye to your group and end your Bali adventure! Where does the tour start and finish?
Starts in Canggu on Day 1 (meeting time 5pm at Frii Hotel Echo Beach, Canggu) and ends in Canggu on Day 12. Recommend the earliest flight departure at 7:00 PM from Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), allowing 1.5-2 hours to the airport.
Who will I be travelling with?
A group of 18-30-somethings from all over the world, and a fully licensed tour guide available 24/7. Group sizes generally 6-15 people.
Where will I be staying?
Twin share hotel accommodation throughout. Mention if travelling with a mate and they’ll try to room you together. Private double upgrades available.

How can I access my money while travelling and how much should I bring?
Bring a debit or travel money card for ATM withdrawals. Local currency is Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). It’s easy to get by for $300-$600 a week covering food, souvenirs and activities.
When is the best time to travel to Bali?
Great to visit all year round, warm to hot temperatures with lots of sun. Slightly more rain November to January, offering relief from the heat.
What will happen after my tour?
Ends in Canggu; guides assist with onward travel arrangements, including pre-arranged departure transfers and info about additional tours and volunteer programs.

Is airport transfer included on arrival?
