- You’ll stay in top-rated hostels like Lub D Bangkok, Halong Hideaway, Mad Monkey Vang Vieng, and Central Backpackers in Hanoi and Phong Nha. All bedding is provided, and accommodation is in shared dorms (6–10 beds), keeping things social and budget-friendly.
- Accommodation is based on 10-12 bed shared dorm arrangements.

Where does the tour start and finish?
The ULTIMATE Asia Highlights tour starts in Bangkok, Thailand and ends in Siem Reap, Cambodia on Day 31. Begins Mondays at 4:00pm, concludes Day 31 at 10am. Enter via Don Mueang (DMK) or Suvarnabhumi (BKK); departure from Siem Reap Angkor International Airport recommended.
Who will I be travelling with?

Do I need vaccinations?
Discuss with your GP. Hepatitis A strongly recommended, rabies pre-exposure optional. Bug spray advised in Bangkok for dengue; malaria uncommon in visited areas. Schedule 4-6 weeks before departure.

Do I need a visa?
Visas are available on arrival in most Southeast Asian countries visited, for most nationalities. Vietnam requires e-visa applications for most travellers except UK citizens (45-day visa-free entry). Vietnam does not accept Emergency Travel Documents.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Notify the company immediately of flight changes via call or email; updated pickup times can be arranged using contact numbers in the Welcome Booklet.
Where will we be staying?
Budget hotels, an overnight sleeper train, a floating bamboo raft house and a beachside hideaway. Includes 27 nights in hostels plus one beach camping night on Koh Rong Samloem in shared dorms (10-12 beds).
Is airport transfer included on arrival?
No, not included, but transfers can be added for an extra cost when booking, requiring flight details 14 days before departure.
How can I access my money while travelling and how much should I bring?
Currencies include Thai Baht, Laotian Kip, Cambodian Riel and Vietnamese Dong. It’s easy to get by for $300-$600 a week. Bring a debit/travel money card and withdraw small amounts every few days.
When is the best time to travel to Asia?
