Kick your Gap Year in Australia off with our most popular ‘UltimateOz’ arrival package. This combo will also go on to include our 5 Week East Coast Explorer tour to see you travel up the East Coast from Sydney to Cairns at the end of UltimateOz. This combo is designed for those looking to tick off their travel shortly after arriving into Australia. Search for Jobs and explore all the places on the East Coast you might want to live.

NOTE – this itinerary runs similar to our 6 Week East Coast Explorer tour. Your first week in Sydney will be spent on the UltimateOz Itinerary before joining the 5 week itinerary on Week 2.

Making your tour combo booking is easy! Your first step is to select your preferred date for the UltimateOz. Once selected and added to your ‘Shopping Cart’, you will be promoted to select any extras followed by selecting an additional Group Tour. Simply go on to select East Coast Explorer Tour and your preferred tour date (Before or After your UltimateOz date, then add this to your cart. Note that your discount will automatically apply once both tours are added to your cart. You will go on to receive a booking confirmation for both tours.

MAKING YOUR BOOKING

To make your booking, select your chosen departure date and any optional extras you would like to book. If you are unsure about optional extras or if you need additional accommodation before or after your tour, you can let us know later via email. If you have a travel date in mind but you’re not ready to pay in full, you can secure your spot with a $200 deposit. We’ll send you a booking confirmation as well as important information about your tour. Your final payment is due 45 days before your tour date and you will be sent an automatic reminder. You can make payments on your tour balance sooner or regularly via our website here. A non refundable 1.8% booking processing fee applies to each booking.
BOOKING WITH CONFIDENCE

Booking with ULTIMATE is easy! We take payments securely via Mastercard or Visa Credit and Debit Card and we will charge you in Australian Currency (AUD). Your deposit is always flexible and if you can no longer travel, you can save your deposit for a later trip or destination, or even gift it to a mate to use anytime in the future. Things to know:

You can participate in the Group tours in any order.
As you are booking a Group Tour combo, your group for each tour may change. Not all travellers on your tours will be travelling to both destinations.
Tour dates are subject to availability
You might have free time in between tour end and start dates where you are free to add extra nights or do your own arrangements.

We recommend a daily spending budget of approximately $50 -75 AUD per day.

From Sydney to Cairns, we’ll explore the best of Australia’s East Coast on this Ultimate 6 Week East Coast Australia tour. From Sydney’s city vibes to the surf culture of Bondi Beach, we’ll experience everything this amazing city has to offer before starting our Ultimate East Coast Explorer tour! Chill in Byron Bay, explore Fraser Island by 4×4, sail the Whitsundays, snorkel the Great Barrier Reef and everything in between – we’ll check everything off your Aussie bucket list! ULTIMATE OZ SYDNEY TOUR ITINERARY

The UltimateOz Australia Gap Year package is the best way to start your Working Holiday in Australia! Your arrival week is jam-packed with social activities while we arrange everything you need to start work in Australia and settle into life Down Under with ease. Organise your travel insurance which is required to participate in this tour (not included)

Tour starts in Sydney (Mondays/Thursdays at 11am)
Tour ends in Cairns (Monday/Thursdays at 10am)

LOCAL CHARGES (Paid direct on arrival)

We have done our best to include the key touring components but have listed the below fee’s that are required to be paid on arrival whilst on tour.

Fraser Island Insurance Fee ($20 AUD) – Paid direct on arrival
Fraser Island Sleeping Bag Hire ($10AUD) – Paid direct if required
Great Barrier Reef Conservation Levy ($20 AUD) Paid direct on arrival

OPEN DATED BOOKINGS

Book open dated when you have not decided on a tour date yet, but want to confirm your travel plans and secure a price. Once you have booked open dated, you can book on any available start date of your choosing, subject to availability.
