Arriving into Fiji:

We'll organise your airport transfer to make your arrival in Fiji smooth and stress-free. 

Airport pickup is available from Nadi International Airport. You must provide us with your arrival date, time and flight number to help us organise your airport.

 

Tour Start Time:

We include a 1 night stay in Smugglers Cove on Day 1 of your trip so let us know your flight details and we'll take care of the rest! You then depart for your island hopping experience the next day at 8.45am from Port Denarau

 

Before the Tour:

Before the tour, make sure you have the necessary travel insurance to travel to Fiji. transfer. Tourism visas in Fiji are FREE and will be granted on arrival at the airport. You must show proof of booked accomdation and a departing flight ticket.

INCLUDED DAILY ACTIVITIES

Your trip includes activites included on a daily basis such as guided snorkel trips, mountain hikes, sunset tubing, mantaray swimming, cooking classes, cave trips plus many more! These are available for you to participate in at your leisure, or you if you fancy a day at the beach – that’s fine too!

SELF-GUIDED

Your Fiji trip will be an self-guided and solo adventure. All your accomodation and transport is sorted well in advance and we make it nice and easy for you once you arrive to get from A to B! Out departure dates are set to give you the best chance of meeting other like-minded travellers.

DAY 1 WELCOME TO FIJI

Bula – Welcome to Fiji! As part of your arrival pack you will be greeted by an Awesome Adventures Fiji representative upon arrival ready for your hotel transfer to Smugglers Cove. Here you will meet any fellow travellers and enjoy a free evening to get settled! You’ll also recieve your complimentary sarong, drink bottle and drawstring bag. The next morning you’ll be taken to Port Denarau ready for your Fiji adventure to truly begin.

DAY 2-3 SOUTH SEA ISLAND

After your transfer to Port Denarau, you will depart the mainland of Fiji at 8.45am. Your first stop is a short ferry to South Sea Island in the Mamanuca region. The next couple of days itinerary includes complimentary activities across the island. This includes: semi-submersible coral viewer, kayaking, paddle boarding, guided snorkeling trips, and beach volleyball. Bottoms up too as house wine, local beer and soft drinks are also FREE between the hours of 9.45am and 4pm!

DAY 4-5 YASAWA GATEWAY

Spend the next couple of days exploring the breath-taking Yasawa region staying in the Kuata resort. Here you have free tome to relax, sunbathe, treat yourself to a couple of local beers if you wish! Activities include a guided snorkelling adventure with reef sharks or the unique night-time snorkel trip!

DAY 6-8 MANTA RAY REGION

The 6th day of your Fiji adventure starts with a morning transfer to Manta Ray Region. You’ll have the rest of today to explore and have some free time. The next few days have some action packed activities, including a bucket-list guided swim with Manta Rays, a visit to a local Fijian village, a marine conservation safari and a evening tubing cruise where you can float with your new pals and watch the sunset with an ice cold beverage!

DAY 9-10 BLUE LAGOON

Travel north up to the world famous Blue Lagoon Region and spend the arvo of Day 9 exploring the unreal scenery at your leisure. Day 10 includes a guided trip to the distinctive Sawa-i-lau caves where you’ll learn all about the ancient rock formations and hidden secrets within!

DAY 11-13 YASAWA REGION

Today you’ll return to the beautiful Yasawa Gateway Region, this time staying in the Octopus resort. For your last few days you’ll fill your time sunbathing and with once in a lifetime activities such as a guided hike up the volcanic peaks at sunset to witness the incredible views and partake in a traditional Fijian cooking class knocking up some unique dishes. Finally your package includes a full day pass to the unique Malamala Beach Club which is the world’s first beach club to have it’s very own island!

DAY 14 RETURN TO SMUGGLERS COVE & TOUR END

The final day of your tour is your Departure Pack. A representative will pick ypu up from Port Denarau and transfer you to your included accommodation in Smugglers Cove. The next morning you will be dropped off at Nadi International Airport for you set sail for your next adventure! If you have opted to extend your trip to obtain your Advanced Dive cert this will start on Day 15!

We’ll send you a booking confirmation as well as important information about your tour.  Your final payment is due 45 days before your tour date and you will be sent an automatic reminder. You can make payments on your tour balance sooner or regularly via our website here.   A non refundable 5.25% booking processing fee applies to each booking.

  • Meal Plans

    Please note that food and drink is not included in the price of this product as standard. This will need to be purchased upon check in when you start your trip.
    Meal plans commence as soon as you will arrive at your resort so if you arrive in time for lunch, day one will include lunch and dinner. Based on this, on your last day at a resort, only breakfast will be included. Should your resort connection not depart for your next destination until after lunch and you wish to have lunch while waiting this will be at your own cost.

WHAT IS THE CURRENCY AND DO I NEED CASH FOR THE ISLANDS?

The currency in Fiji is the Fijian Dollar. Most of the resorts you'll be staying accept/prefer cashless payments so a debit/credit card is a must.

It is advisable to have some cash with you but please note the only ATMs are at Nadi Airport and Port Denarau so make sure to withdraw some then.

ARE THERE MEALS INCLUDED?

Please note that meals are NOT included in this package and are at your own cost throughout your trip. 

DO I NEED A VISA TO TRAVEL TO FIJI?

In most cases, no. You will not need a visa to enter Fiji if you are from a visa exempted country. You will still however need to meet other requirements to enter, which are listed below. To check if you are from a visa exempted country you can head to the Fiji Immigration website.

You will need to hold a passport with at least 6 months validity beyond your intended period of travel, a departing flight ticket either home or to an onward country and a confirmed address in Fiji (which you can put as Smugglers Cove)

IS THIS A GUIDED TOUR?

No way! This is a self-guided trip for you to really immerse yourself in the chilled out, island lifestyle!

Awesome Fiji will take care of all your accomodation and transfers and the rest is down to you to enjoy with your new travel buddies!

Please note that other passengers may be on a different tours/packages so you may not be travelling with them all the time.

IS AIRPORT TRANSFER INCLUDED ON ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE?

Airport transfer is included in your trip! Just make sure you let us know your flight arrival date, time and flight number at least 14 days before your tour is due to start.
