DAY 1 AUCKLAND / CATHEDRAL COVE / WHITIANGA

DAY 1 AUCKLAND / CATHEDRAL COVE / WHITIANGA

We depart Auckland the first thing this morning on a journey to, the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula. One of our first stops is at the famous Cathedral Cove. Famous for being featured in multiple Hollywood films, this location is ideal for swimming, kayaking and exploring. This afternoon we continue on to Hot Water Beach. This spot is great to visit at low tide so that you can dig your own hot pool in the sand.

DAY 2 WHANGAMATA / TAURANGA

After the first night getting to know your new travel mates, our journey continues south as we travel to famous Mount Maunganui. On the travels, we’ll stop in the local town of Whangamata and explore this idyllic beachside town and amazing surf break. When we arrive in Mount Maunganui, the afternoon and evening is completely free for you to enjoy the white sand surf beach that has often been crowned as ‘New Zealand’s Best’.

DAY 3 – 4 ROTORUA

DAY 3 – 4 ROTORUA

Today we travel to the Maori culture capital of New Zealand, Rotorua. Our day is spent immersing ourselves into the traditional Maori culture and exploring the Redwoods forest. Over the next day you are free to choose your own adventure! Many choose to visit the enchanting Hobbiton Movie Set but or explore the Geyser & Geothermal Valley that is Te Puia.

DAY 5 TAUPO

After two nights in Rotorua we continue on to the stunning Lake Taupo, New Zealands largest. Along the way, we stop to take in the breathtaking crystal water flows at Huka Falls. When we arrive to the Adventure Capital of the North, optional paid activities like bungy jumping, skydiving or jet boat riding are on offer! Our night is spent exploring what the Taupo nightlife has to offer!

DAY 6 – 7 WELLINGTON

DAY 6 – 7 WELLINGTON

Today we travel to the nation’s capital – Wellington! Once in Windy city, we’ll hit the cosmopolitan streets of Nz’s coolest city for a social night out! The following day is free to explore and we recommend you get lost in city streets! This is the Ultimate way to explore. Visit local cafe’s, explore local street art or go see New Zealand’s famous national museum – Te Papa (Free) We will be on hand all day to show you what’s on in town and guide your adventure.  

DAY 8 NEW PLYMOUTH

Our travels continue to Wellington, a city encompasses a waterfront promenade, sandy beaches, a working harbour and colourful timber houses on surrounding hills

It’s time to start the journey back up to the north! But first, the beautiful Taranaki region and Mt Egmont (New Zealand’s most perfectly formed volcano) We will explore national parks and coastal walkways

DAY 9 WAITOMO AND RAGLAN

DAY 9 WAITOMO AND RAGLAN

Today we get to the world famous Glowworm Caves of Waitomo (‘wai’ meaning water, ‘tomo’ meaning hole).
Here we will explore the Ruakuri rainforest by foot or opt to take a tour of the subterranean world with our wetsuits and go Black Water Rafting.

Today is out last day as a group but we are sure to go out in an Ultimate way! Our last stop before Auckland is in Raglan, home to some of New Zealand’s best surf breaks! After lunch, we’ll head north to Auckland where we say our farewells
