WHERE DOES THE TOUR START AND FINISH?
The Epic Australian Adventure Tour starts in Sydney and ends in Melbourne. You will travel the East Coast from Sydney to Cairns before flying (flight included) from Cairns to Alice Springs. You will then make your way down to Adelaide before embarking on final sector along the Great Ocean Road to Melbourne.
WHO WILL I BE TRAVELLING WITH?
You’ll be travelling with a group of 18-30-somethings from all over the world, and a fully licensed tour guide available 24/7 whilst on the East Coast portion of the tour. Group sizes vary but you can generally expect to travel with a group of approximately 10-20 people. Once you travel to Alice Springs, your group may change in size. You can expect to travel with a group of between 5 and 20 people. Your last day in Melbourne is unguided.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The Epic Australia Adventure Tour package is a combination of our Ultimate East Coast Highlights 21 Day tour and our Rock to Water and Great Ocean Road tours operated by our ground partners. Group size and your Group Leaders will change between each component. There are three nights on this package which are considered ‘Travel’ or ‘Free’ days which are not guided. These are in Alice Springs, Adelaide and Melbourne.
WHERE WILL I BE STAYING?
We stay at the best hostels available in each region. All prices are based on shared accommodation in 6 or 8 share dorm style rooms. You will spend time camping in a Swag during the Outback portion of the itinerary. The tour includes 3 overnight buses.
HOW DO I TRAVEL FROM CAIRNS TO ALICE SPRINGS?
On Day 21 of the itinerary, you will travel to Alice Springs via an internal flight which will be confirmed to you on Day 1 of the tour in Sydney. Weight restrictions apply on a standard Economy class ticket. Your luggage is restricted to 20Kg weight limit plus 7Kg Carry on Bag.

HOW MUCH SPENDING MONEY SHOULD I BRING?
On our Group Tours, your transport and accommodation along with the meals and activities listed on the itinerary are all included in your tour price. While you are travelling you may wish to participate in additional activities which you will need to budget for. While travelling you may wish to eat and drink out or you may plan to cook and prepare some of your own meals.
As a guide, we recommend you budget an additional $40 - $60AUD per day for spending money. Please note that all travellers are different and you may wish to travel with additional spending money. There are amazing optional activities and food options on offer on the East Coast and if you desire to experience most of them, you may wish to budget for additional spending money.
