DAY 1 HANOI WELCOME DINNER

Our trip begins with a welcome dinner at our favourite restaurant in Hanoi. Meet your group and share a few drinks with your new travel mates. Get ready to party, Hanoi-style! Grab a stool and join the crowd for some locally brewed beer. Mingle and dance with locals and other travellers in the laneways of Hanoi.

 

DAY 2 HANOI FOODIE TOUR

One thing Vietnam is famous for is the diverse range of exotic food. Today, our local guide will take us on a tour to some hidden places where you can sample tasty, interesting food and local delicacies whilst getting to know the city.

 

DAY 3 HALONG BAY & OVERNIGHT BOAT

Cruise Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay. Enjoy the magical scenery as we cruise and kayak through crystal clear waters past hundreds of limestone cliffs. Tonight, we stay on the boat anchored in a secluded cove within Halong Bay.

 

DAY 4 HALONG BAY

Torday we visit Cua Van village, a small community with around 700 residents living in the root of Ngoc Mountain. In the afternoon we visit Tien Ong Cave (God Cave) located at Hang Trai island.

 

DAY 5 RETURN TO HANOI

Wake up and and enjoy a relaxed morning before we visit Sung Sot Cave, one of the biggest caves in Ha Long bay with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. This afternoon we cruise back to Hanoi for another awesome night on the town.

 

DAY 6 HANOI TO DA NANG

To get the most out of your trip, our tour includes a flight from Hanoi to Hoi An. Explore this beautiful town where life is amazingly laid-back with a city center perfect for relaxing, eating and shopping and a stunning beach a short bike ride away. With colourful lanterns hanging from trees, buildings and shops all around town.

 

DAY 7 COOKING CLASS

You think you’ve had good food before? You haven’t tried proper Vietnamese cuisine – made in Vietnam, by you! Meet your guide at 9AM in your hotel lobby before heading to your cooking class.

 

DAY 8 HOI AN to NINH HOA

Day 8 is free time for you to explore Hoi An, chill at the beach or do some shopping. Remember to get snacks ready for the long journey. Meet your guide at the hotel at 6:00pm to get the 6:30pm sleeper bus arriving in Hoa-Nha Trang at 6:00am

 

DAY 9 NHA TRANG - FREE DAY

After arriving in Ninh Hoa you will be picked up by your hostel shuttle. When you arrive at the hostel, check in and enjoy your breakfast. You have free time for the rest of the day to work on your tan and chill with your new friends

DAY 10 NINH HOA - DALAT

The central city of the Vietnam highlands is famous for its cool temperatures and stunning waterfalls. Da Lat is known as the romantic city of Vietnam with lots of locals heading here to get married. We get here early afternoon, which gives us enough time to explore this cute town and visit ‘Crazy House’, if you like.

 

DAY 11 DA LAT CANYONING

The next day get ready for the ultimate thrill! We’ll head to the woods, get our gear and start the adventure in the canyon. Hike through lush green rain forest, do some abseiling, walk down a pounding waterfall before we get to the ‘washing machine’. Adrenaline rush guaranteed!

 

DAY 12 DALAT – SAIGON We leave the mountains and take the bus to our final stop, Ho Chi Minh City. This city is buzzing and great to have a good night out.

 

DAY 13 CU CHI TUNNELS Obviously, you can’t visit Vietnam and not learn about the country’s history including the Vietnam War. Our local guide takes us to the Cu Chi Tunnels and gives us a good insight into what happened here. Later tonight we get ready for the final night and enjoy farewell drinks on one of the rooftop bars. Tonight’s accommodation is still included in your tour.

DAY 14 TOUR FARWELL Time to check out (unless you choose to stay a little longer) and make your way to whatever is next on your list. Whether it’s just heading to the airport to catch your flight home or travelling on to more adventures, we will help you with the planning.

This Ultimate Vietnam group tour includes accommodation in mix multi-share and twin share rooms. Private room upgrades are available upon request, subject to availability and paid locally. 

 

Halong Bay - We spend one night in Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay on a typical Vietnamese “junk” boat. Accommodation is twin share with private ensuite.
