I’ve just finished the 3 week east coast highlights tour and had the most amazing time! The stops were all amazing and Jack, our group leader, was incredible, going out of his way throughout the trip to make sure everyone was happy and safe. His relaxed and fun-loving nature was infectious, lifting everyone’s spirits on the long coach journeys and when the weather was less than ideal. Our group of 18 all got along fantastically well and we were all gutted to be leaving at the end. Highly recommend!

I had a really good week in Melbourne with Ultimate Travel. Our Group Leader Mia wasn't only a great guide, but also a nice friend. Due to the group size of 10 people it felt very familiar. We were able to adapt the activities flexibly to the group and avoid the bad weather. My highlight was the Great Oceans Road daytrip. I can highly recommend the tour for those who are new to the city and want to make friends. You will have a lot of fun with amazing people.

I’ve just had the most amazing time on the 3 weeks East Coast Highlights tour with my guide Marcus. I’ve made lifelong friends and memories that I’ll cherish forever. Marcus was the best tour guide I could’ve hoped for, always ensuring I was making the most of my time in Australia. I’ve done activities such as bungee jumping, sky diving, scuba dived the Great Barrier Reef and so much more, and have loved every minute. I couldn’t be more thankful to both Marcus and Ultimate and I would 100% recommend everyone to travel with these guys! It’s only been 3 days and I miss everyone and Australia already!

I had an amazing time on the 5-week East Coast Adventure with Ultimate Travel! Our tour guide, Melissa, was outstanding. She was fun, approachable, and always making sure the whole group felt included. She even let me use her room and laptop for my job interviews, which was incredibly helpful.
The itinerary was excellent, striking a perfect balance between having enough time to explore each destination and seeing as much of Australia as possible. Some of my personal highlights included driving a 4x4 on Fraser Island and taking the Whitsunday boat tour. I also opted for several extra activities: jet skiing, white-water rafting, and bungee jumping all of which were incredible experiences.
Accommodation was in budget-friendly hostels, all clean and comfortable (though I did encounter a giant huntsman spider in our Mission Beach room!). It would have been nice to have more meals included, but overall, the trip was fantastic. I’d highly recommend Ultimate Travel for anyone looking to explore the East Coast of Australia with a great group and an amazing guide.

Just got back from the ultimate 5 week adventure. Loved every second. I went on my own but quickly felt at home with our group of 10. Our tour guide Joe set up a group scavenger hunt to make sure we all got to know each other in such a hilarious way. It was nice to be able to switch my mind off and enjoy all the east coast has to offer, as Joe made all of the information clear every day (what time we need to be ready, what to bring etc) and knew all the best best spots to take us. A huge thank you to Joe and the rest of our group for making the experience unforgettable.

It was about a week ago my friends and I had the utmost pleasure of meeting Ellie Reader and wow what lucky men we now count myself to be. Her tenacity and ruthless organisational ability were put to fantastic use when booking our white water rafting. Efficiency and kindness come completely naturally to her and I have to say she is without a doubt the best tour guide I’ve ever encountered. If chatting was in the olympics, sign her up, she really is a top bloke and we will all be sad to see her go. Maybe just maybe I might go to Preston.

My trip backpacking the East Coast of Australia has been the best experience of my life. The opportunity to do so many incredible crazy activities and see so many things I wouldn't see elsewhere will stick with me forever. Having a pre planned itinerary and guide helped me feel reasured for my first solo backpacking trip and took a lot of the stress away of organising activities and transport myself.
